A private database containing private emails and linked phone numbers belonging to 400 million Twitter users is up for sale on the black market.

Hudson Rock stated, “The private database contains devastating amounts of information including emails and phone numbers of high-profile users such as Kevin O’Leary, Vitalik Buterin and more.”

Rock added that “the hacker claims that the data was obtained in early 2022 due to a security breach at Twitter, and also tried to blackmail Elon Musk to buy the data or face GDPR lawsuits.”
