Solana Breakpoint is an annual 4-day conference that takes place on November 4-7 in Lisbon and has about 13 thousand participants.

During the conference, Solana announced a series of events that will help mass adoption of the SOL currency.

Among the announcements we can mention a smartphone dedicated to distributed applications and the most prominent among them all is the partnership with Google Cloud.

Google Cloud is building a “Solana” verifier, which generates blocks to take part in validating the network.

Google Cloud’s Blockchain Node Engine, first announced on October 27, will appear on the Solana network starting in 2023. The integration will allow users to launch a dedicated Solana node on the cloud.

Additionally, Google Cloud will add Solana data to BigQuery—a fully managed serverless data warehouse—by next year, making it easier for Solana developers to access historical data.
